Categories - Document Digitization

Our document digitization service is classified into 3 categories

Unbound Material Scan:
Before minor restoration
Unbound material scan is for scanning individual pages. In other words, if you have lot of loose sheets (or) stapled sheets (or) sheets tied with thread knot, then you should go for unbound material scan. For stapled sheets and sheets tied with thread, we remove those bindings and scan the sheets. Each stapled set will be scanned into one PDF. So, make sure that a stapled set contains one set of data. Please note that the unstapled sheets won't be stapled after scanning. The sheets will be sent back to customers as loose sheets.

Bound Material Scan (Destructive):
Before moderate restoration
Destructive Bound Material Scan is for scanning bound material (mainly books). In destructive material scan, bound material is cut into individual pages and scanned. We use sophisticated cutting equipment to cut only the book binding and then the individual pages are scanned. No printed material will be lost as we cut at the exact margin. The original material is not returned to the customer, only the CD/DVD with the digitized material will be sent.

Bound Material Scan (Non Destructive):

Before extensive restoration
Non Descturive Bound Material Scan is for scanning the bound material while maintaining the shape and form of that bound material intact. In non-destructive material scan, originals will also be returned along side the CD/DVD. We use very high end automated book scanners to scan the bounded books for non destructive bound material scan.

Customer Testimonials

I have been thinking of digitizing all my photos from long time. As a first step towards that, I got few of old photos (mostly from my childhood) scanned from scancorner. The quality of images is amazing. Extremely clear and crisp. I must say that ScanCorner did an outstanding and fabulous job. I will soon be sending a next batch of photos to ScanCorner.
